Last Update: May 25, 7:30 pm ET

Bryce Harper (PHI) - After missing both Sunday and Monday's games, Harper was placed on the 10-day IL with a forearm contusion. He was in a massive 2-for-25 slide before the IL stint.

Harrison Bader (STL) - Bader has been placed on the 10-day IL due to a fractured rib trying to make a diving catch in Monday's game. This is his second IL stint of the year already.

Byron Buxton (MIN) - Twins manager Rocco Baldelli told reporters that Buxton could begin a rehab assignment by weeks end, putting him on track to return by next week at some point.

Jesús Luzardo (OAK) - We're going to see Luzardo making a rehab start for Oakland's Triple-A affiliate on Thursday, meaning we will likely see him return rather soon. There hasn't been anything official, however, whether he's going to rejoin the Oakland rotation or will he head to the bullpen.

Kyle Gibson (TEX) - The Rangers have placed Gibson on the 10-day IL retroactive to May 22nd due to a right groin strain. Gibson has had a great 2021 campaign thus far and shouldn't mss much time, as it's been reported it's only likely a pair of starts that he will in fact miss.

Matt Duffy (CHC) - Duffy has been great for the Cubs, but unfortunately he's going to spend some time on the IL with a lower back strain. We should see Kris Bryant play a lot of 3B in Duffy's absence.

Zach Plesac (CLE) - Well, this is a new one. Plesac fractured his finger taking off his shirt. OK, man. There hasn't been any official word on how much time he will miss.

Adalberto Mondesi (KCR) - Mondesi is making his seaosn debut on Tuesday as he was officially removed from the IL prior to the game. He's a constant threat on the base paths, he just needs to reach.

Brian Anderson (MIA) - This is the second time this season the Marlins 3B will spend time on the IL, this time for a left shoulder subluxation. This is a significant injury that will require a lot of time on the IL before he can return.

Noah Syndergaard (NYM) - Uh oh. No bueno. Syndergaard left his rehab start tonight with elbow soreness after just ONE inning. The Mets have announced it's due to precautionary reasons, but for someone working back from Tommy John surgery, this is the worst possible scenario.

Last Update: May 25, 6:30 am ET

Jacob deGrom (NYM) – deGrom is scheduled to make his return after a brief IL stint. He will take the mound Tuesday against the Rockies.

Noah Syndergaard (NYM) – Syndergaard is rehabbing from Tommy John surgery. He will join the club’s Triple-A affiliate as he gradually makes his return to the team.

Brian Anderson (MIA) – Anderson exited Monday’s game with shoulder soreness after sliding into third base in the second inning.

Harrison Bader (STL) – Bader left Monday’s game against the White Sox after sustaining a rib injury attempting to make a catch in foul territory.

Manny Machado (SD) – Machado missed another game Monday night as he remains day-to-day with shoulder inflammation.

Cody Bellinger , Tony Gonsolin , Zach McKinstry (LAD) – All three players started their rehab assignments on Sunday with Triple-A Oklahoma City. Bellinger hit a home run, McKinstry recorded a double, and Gonsolin pitched three shutout innings.

Last Update: May 24, 7:40 pm ET

Trent Grisham (SDP) - Now that the Padres have officially placed Grisham on the 10-day IL, it's his second trip to the list. It's unfortunate because Grisham has been very, very good when healthy.

Wilson Ramos (DET) - This is starting to get worrisome. Ramos has been placed on the IL with a lumbar strain in his back for the second time this month. He was hitting .087 simce returning from the first IL stint.

Miles Mikolas (STL) - After leaving his first start of the year, it was inevitable that Mikolas was heading to the IL. It's been diagnosed as a forearm strain and he's been placed on the IL.

Michael Conforto & Jeff McNeil (NYM) - The Mets acting General Manager made a statement on Monday claiming that both players have significant hamstring injuries and will miss an extended period of time. We shouldn't expect to see either until the latter part of June.

Last Update: May 24, 9:00 am ET

Kenta Maeda (MIN)  Maeda has been placed on the 10-day IL with a groin injury. He had been dealing with it for a few starts (unsuccessfully) and the Twins decided to give him some time to rest.

Mookie Betts (LAD) – Betts was a late scratch from yesterday's game with shoulder soreness. It does not sound like anything serious though.

Carlos Carrasco (NYM) – Carrasco's progress has been slow and he is still weeks away from a possible return.

Jordan Yamamoto (NYM) – Yamamoto left yesterday's start with shoulder pain. There has been no update on if this will cost him any time or not.

Kendall Graveman (SEA) – Graveman was placed on the 10-day IL. He was dominating as the Mariners closer this season. Expect Montero to serve as the clubs closer while Graveman is out.

Last Update: May 23, 8:30 am ET

Cavan Biggio (TOR) – The Blue Jays placed Biggio on the 10-day IL with a cervical spine ligament sprain. Biggio attempted to play through the neck pain, but Toronto has opted to shut him down for the next week. They’re optimistic he’ll be able to come off the IL once he’s eligible.

Franmil Reyes (CLE) – Reyes was pulled from Saturday’s game with an abdominal strain. Prior to the departure he did collect his 11th home run of the season. We’ll likely know more about the injury Sunday afternoon. Update: The Indians announced on Sunday that Reyes will be placed on the 10-day IL.

Miles Mikolas (STL) – Mikolas’ long-awaited return was cut short. While making his warmup pitches in the fifth inning he was experiencing some discomfort so the team opted to pull him as a precaution. He received an MRI late last night but we’ll likely hear more about the injury later today.

Last Update: May 22, 6:00 pm ET

Nelson Cruz (MIN) – After being hit by a pitch in the wrist on Thursday, Cruz has been given some rest days just to let it heal. Cruz has been taking some swings, so it isn’t serious as of right now.

Jorge Polanco (MIN) – Polanco has been dealing with some discomfort in the same ankle that he’s had surgery on the past two offseasons. He’s likely to sit the right of the weekend and the organization will plan on how to proceed with him after Sunday.

Ke’Bryan Hayes (PIT) – Hayes was finally sent on a rehab assignment this weekend. He’s not eligible to return until June 3rd, but the fact that he’ll start rehabbing soon signals that he could return in a couple weeks.

Victor Robles (WSH) – Robles is still being given time to rest his ankle after he injured it while running the bases on Wednesday. A recent MRI revealed it was indeed sprained so for now they’re simply giving him some time off before deciding if he needs to miss significant time.

Pete Alonso (NYM) – Alonso was placed on the 10-day IL with a sprained right hand.

Carson Kelly (ARI) – The Diamondbacks are optimistic that Kelly will be able to return on Tuesday from his fractured toe injury. The organization doesn’t think a rehab stint is necessary.

J.T. Realmuto (PHI) – Realmuto was placed on the IL with a hand contusion. The move is retroactive to last Tuesday so he’ll be eligible to come off the IL next Friday.

Last Update: May 21, 7:55 am ET

Mike Moustakas (CIN) - The Reds placed Moustakas on the 10-day IL with a heel contusion. He hasn't started in over a week, but since he was used as a pinch hitter on Tuesday he can't come off the IL until late next week.

Jacob deGrom (NYM) – Following a bullpen session on Tuesday, deGrom will make a rehab start in Low-A St. Lucie on Thursday so it looks like a return to the rotation is imminent.

Noah Syndergaard (NYM) – Syndergaard made his first pitching appearance at St. Lucie on Wednesday. It was his first time pitching since he underwent Tommy John surgery 14 months ago. He tossed four innings of shutout ball allowing one hit while striking out six. As of right now, Syndergaard is on track for a mid-to-late June return.

J.T. Realmuto (PHI) – The good news is that a trip to the IL isn’t an option for the Phillies right now as Realmuto deals with a bone bruise. The bad news is that there is clear swelling in his hand and the injury has kept him out since Saturday. Philadelphia must be optimistic the swelling will go down soon if they don’t plan on placing him on the IL.

Miles Mikolas (STL) – Mikolas is set to make his big league return to the mound on Saturday. He missed all of last season after needing surgery to repair a flexor tendon in his right arm.

Alex Kirilloff (MIN) – Kirilloff started a brief rehab stint with Triple-A St. Paul on Wednesday and could return as soon as this weekend.

Michael Pineda (MIN) – Pineda has been placed on the 10-day IL after an abscess developed on his inner thigh.

Taijuan Walker   (NYM) – Walker had to leave Monday’s start with left side tightness. He only lasted three innings, albeit three very strong innings. He worked through the same injury last week but it was effecting him more on Monday night than it was last week. He’s not considering it too serious at the moment, but he’s due for a MRI on Tuesday. Update: Walker has been placed on the 10-day IL.

Anthony Rizzo  (CHC) – Rizzo exited Tuesday night’s game against the Nationals with lower back tightness. It looked as if he tweaked his back running out of the batter’s box so he’s considered day-to-day for now. Update: Rizzo was held out of Wednesday's lineup, as was his teammate, Javier Báez .

Last Update: May 19, 4:30 am ET

Cody Bellinger (LAD) – Bellinger will be heading out on a rehab assignment beginning Friday in Triple-A Oklahoma City. It could still mean he’s a couple weeks away. He has to ramp up his strength and in-game performance since he’s been out since the beginning of April. Consider this rehab assignment a mini-Spring training stint. Zach McKinstry will be joining him on the rehab stint and he will likely return to the big league roster quicker than Bellinger.

Gary Sánchez (NYY) – Sanchez exited Tuesday’s game with cramping in his left hamstring. Another frustrating season for the once promising catcher continues. He’s considered day-to-day.

George Springer (TOR) – Springer has been taking some batting practice but isn’t running yet. Once he’s able to run the bases at full speed we’ll be able to get a sense of when he could return. Until then, it’s anybody’s guess.

Kevin Kiermaier (TB) – Kiermaier is eligible to come off the IL on Wednesday. He’s been sidelined with a wrist injury since May 8th. Kevin Cash acknowledged that he’s “really, really close” to returning so it seems like he’ll be activated either Wednesday or Thursday.

Jordan Hicks (STL) – Hicks will be shut down from baseball activities for at least one month after receiving an injection in his elbow. Once the 30-day calendar is up that doesn’t mean he’ll be ready to return. A rehab stint will likely be on the table.

Last Update: May 18, 7:50 pm ET

Mike Trout (LAA) - PAIN. Trout has been placed on the 10-day IL with a strained calf. His estimated IL stint is six-to-eight weeks. This really, really sucks.

Tyler O'Neill (STL) - We knew it wasn't great after he left the game due to the slide into second, but it's officially diagnosed as a fractured finger. He has been placed on the 10-day IL retroactive to May 17th.

Didi Gregorius (PHI) - Gregorius hadn't played in a couple of days and it was somewhat of a standoff whether or not he'd be placed on the IL and on Tuesday he ultimately was. It was retroactive to May 14th.

Mitch Moreland (OAK) - There is a more technical term to what happened to Moreland, but it's basically a brusied rib that he needs to let heal. He's been placed on the 10-day IL and there isn't seemingly much worry from the club that the stint will be much longer than that.

Lewis Brinson (MIA) - After not playing for a few days, Brinson was used a defensive subsitute on Sunday, which screwed him to return sooner. He was placed on the 10-day IL on Monday, but he could've come back sooner than that if he was never put in Sunday's game.

Luke Weaver (ARI) - Weaver pitched a really good game on Monday, but felt shoulder discomfort on Monday and has been placed on the 10-day IL because of it. There is no word to the severity of this injury.

Christian Yelich (MIL) - Yelich has been activated from the 10-day IL prior to Tuesday's game and is even in the lineup. In 10 games this year, Yelich is hitting .353 with an .846 OPS.

Last Update: May 18, 6:50 am ET

Mike Trout (LAA) – Trout exited Monday’s game in the first inning with a calf strain he sustained while running the bases. He’s due to get a MRI so there’s no clear understanding of the severity of the injury.

Madison Bumgarner (ARI) – Bumgarner left his start on Monday with an adductor strain after striking out in the fifth inning. He said he doesn’t consider the injury painful, but it’s more like discomfort. The Diamondbacks are optimistic he won’t miss any time.

Kevin Pillar (NYM) – Pillar took a 95-mph fastball to the face but walked off under his own power after being tended to by the Braves medical staff. He went for a CT scan after the game and seemed in good spirits with this gem of a tweet…

Jacob deGrom (NYM) – deGrom threw off the mound and pitched a bullpen session on Monday and could make a start in this upcoming weekend’s series in Miami.

Last Update: May 17, 7:10 pm ET

Giancarlo Stanton (NYY) - NOBODY saw this coming. Stanton had been out of the lineup for a couple days and finally was placed on the IL retroactive to the 14th. It's a quad strain and the severity of the injury is unknown at this point.

Huascar Ynoa (ATL) - No matter how many times someone punches something in the dugout and breaks something, there will ALWAYS be another victim. This time, it's Ynoa, who will be sidelined for some time due to a broken hand.

Kiké Hernández (BOS) - The Red Sox second baseman is expected to be removed from the IL on Tuesday and with

Stephen Strasburg (WAS) - The right-hander is expected to be activated from the 10-day IL in the upcoming days, they're just basing it off how his shoulder feels today after his rehab start from Sunday.

José Abreu (CWS) - Abreu won the battle, but lost the war. He slid into home on Sunday and boy was it a great slide. It literally won the White Sox the game. But he left that game with left ankle inflammation and will miss the Twins series, but is expected to return in the series after.

Danny Duffy (KCR) - The Royals have placed Duffy on the 10-day IL retroactive to May 14th due to a left forearm flexor strain. Duffy is headed to the IL with a 1.94 ERA. Tough blow to the Royals rotation.

Last Update: May 17, 9:15 am ET

Brandon Belt (SFG) - Belt was once again out of the lineup on Sunday as he's been battling tightness in his side all week. He was able to pinch-hit on Saturday, but has only started one of the last four games the Giants have played. Consider him day-to-day.

Urquidy has been placed on the 10-day IL with shoulder discomfort. This is not good news for the Astros right-hander, but there hasn't been anything official on how much time he's looking at on the IL.

Chris Taylor (LAD) - While taking batting practice on Sunday, Taylor felt some discomfort in his wrist, which led to a late scratch. We should consider him day-to-day.

Michael Conforto (NYM) - After leaving Sunday's game, it looks like an IL stint is immenent. Conforto pulled his hamstring and now we're simply awaiting the official word. UPDATE: Conforto is being placed on the 10-day IL.

Jeff McNeil (NYM) - The hamstring injury that forced him out of Sunday's game has been an ongoing problem for the entire week. He was able to start Friday, but sat Saturday and then was in Sunday's lineup before reaggravating it on Sunday. The IL could be McNeil's next stop. UPDATE: McNeil is being placed on the 10-day IL.

David Price (LAD) - The Dodgers expectation is that Price will be activated from the 10-day IL prior to Monday's game.

Max Kepler (MIN) - A hamstring injury? What are the baseball God's doing to everyone's hamstring? Kepler was forced out of Sunday's game and at this point, we're considering him day-to-day until we know more.

Tyler O'Neill (STL) - After swiping second base on Sunday, O'Neill exited the game due to a sprained finger he jammed on the base. He's considered day-to-day at this point, but if he ends up on the IL it will be his second stint this season.

Last Update: May 16, 8:10 am ET

Corey Seager (LAD) – Seager had to exit Saturday’s game against Miami after he was struck in the hand by a pitch. He will go on the IL for an extended absence as there is no timetable for his return.

Bryce Harper (PHI) – No stranger to the occasional nagging injury, Harper left Saturday’s game with some shoulder soreness. He’s considered day-to-day.

J.T. Realmuto (PHI) – Similar to his teammate, Realmuto left Saturday’s game with a wrist injury. The Phillies don’t believe it’s too serious. He is also considered day-to-day.

Aaron Hicks (NYY) – Hicks is headed to the IL with a torn tendon sheath in his wrist. They haven’t yet decided on surgery. For now they’ll be treating it with anti-inflammatory medications and observe how that works for him. No timetable yet for Hicks’ return, but if he requires surgery that’ll delay the return even more.

Giancarlo Stanton (NYY) – Stanton’s been dealing with some left quad tightness as he’s missed the last two games for the Yankees. He’s considered day-to-day.

J.D. Davis (NYM)Davis was initially going to come off the IL this weekend, but the Mets opted to give him a rehab assignment at Triple-A Syracuse so his return has been slightly pushed back.

Shohei Ohtani (LAA) – Ohtani’s next start on Tuesday will not happen. He’s dealing with general fatigue so while he will miss his next start in the rotation, he’ll still likely DH and make his next scheduled start for the Halos.

Ronald Acuña Jr. (ATL) – Acuna dodged bullets after X-rays came back negative on his ankle, but he’s been held out of the lineup Friday and Saturday. He’s considered day-to-day but if he lands on the IL he’ll be eligible to return May 24th.

Alex Kirilloff (MIN) – Kirilloff has started hitting off a tee to test his wrist injury. There’s still no official timetable for his return. The Twins want to protect their prized prospect and not rush him back too soon.

Cody Bellinger (LAD) – Bellinger could be nearing a minor league rehab assignment later this week. He was recently seen running at 19mph and Dave Roberts has said he felt good. Bellinger has been out since the beginning of April. If he starts rehabbing later this week he could return by the end of the month.

Paul DeJong (STL) – DeJong has been placed on the 10-day IL with a fractured rib. This is actually pretty optimistic news considering an oblique injury is one that is easier to re-aggravate. DeJong could miss the next week or two, but the fracture wasn’t displaced so for now it’s just causing him some discomfort and he’ll just require some rest.

Ke’Bryan Hayes (PIT) – Hayes is finally making some progress in his rehabbing. The wrist injury has been a fairly slow process, but the Pirates have finally written down some potential rehab dates for their prized rookie.

Last Update: May 13, 10:00 pm ET

Christian Yelich (MIL) – Good news for the Brew Crew as Yelich is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment on Friday in Nashville. This doesn’t mean he’s necessarily clear of the lingering back pain, but at least it’s a step in the right direction.

Ronald Acuña Jr. (ATL) – Braves fans and Acuna owners alike held their collective breath on Thursday as Acuna went down after planting/twisting his knee and ankle awkwardly running down the first base path. X-rays came back negative but some soreness could persist. He’s considered day-to-day for the time being.

Byron Buxton (MIN) – Reports earlier on Thursday indicated that Buxton would be able to start rehabbing, but he acknowledged that his hip isn’t quite where it needs to be yet, but he doesn’t feel that far off.

Aaron Hicks (NYY) – Hicks went for an MRI on his wrist prior to Thursday’s game in Tampa Bay. The Yankees don’t believe the injury is incredibly serious, but Hicks has been dealing with some soreness.

Anthony Santander (BAL) – Santander is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment at Double-A Bowie on Friday. If all goes well he could see his return to Baltimore’s lineup in the not-too-distant future.

Last Update: May 13, 7:00 am ET

Kris Bryant (CHC) – Bryant was left out of the lineup on Wednesday as he was still not feeling well. He did pinch hit and was promptly hit by a pitch in the wrist and came out of the game. Given the injury and illness he’s considered day-to-day, but luckily the Cubs are off on Thursday.

Jake Arrieta (CHC) – Arrieta’s been dealing with a thumb injury but it sounds like he could be activated for Friday’s start in Detroit. Additionally, teammate Nico Hoerner could return for Friday’s game as well.

Mike Soroka (ATL) – Soroka hasn’t pitched since last August and he suffered a setback while rehabbing his torn achilles. He will require another surgery which potentially shuts him down for 2021.

Didi Gregorius (PHI) – Gregorius missed a few games in April with elbow tightness and it appears as if the elbow is once again bothering him so he’s considered day-to-day.

J.T. Realmuto (PHI) – Realmuto is considered day-to-day after fouling a ball off his knee Tuesday night. His status for Thursday afternoon’s game against Washington is unknown.

Jake Odorizzi (HOU) – Odorizzi is set to make a rehab appearance at Triple-A next week and he could return to the rotation by the end of the month.

Paul DeJong (STL) – DeJong left Wednesday’s game with left side tightness. It’s worth noting he was hit on the left side during Tuesday’s contest so it could be general soreness from the HBP the game prior.

Byron Buxton and Alex Kirilloff (MIN) – Both Buxton and Kirilloff are expected to start swinging a bat by the end of this week to gauge where their injuries are at. Buxton has been cleared to start throwing and working with the strength and conditioning staff. Regarding Kirilloff, how he feels when swinging the bat and partaking in light drills will determine whether he needs surgery or not.

Last Update: May 12th, 6:50 am ET

Christian Walker (ARZ) - The Dbacks placed Walker on the 10-day IL right oblique soreness.

Zac Gallen (ARZ) - The Dbacks also placed Gallen on the 10-day IL with a sprainged right elbow.

Kris Bryant (CHC) – Bryant exited last night’s game in the sixth inning as he wasn’t feeling well. The Cubs don’t think it’s COVID-related so he’s considered day-to-day for now.

Jeff McNeil (NYM) – McNeil came up a little weak attempting to stretch a single into a double and was removed from the game. Apparently he was dealing with body cramps so that’s better news than a hamstring strain at least.

Stephen Strasburg (WSH) – Strasburg’s on the IL, but he did throw a 62-pitch simulated game on Tuesday. No official word yet on when he could return but this is a huge step in the right direction.

Wil Myers (SD) - Myers, like Tatis, tested positive for COVID-19 and will be sidelined for the coming days. With quarantining he'll likely be out ten day until he can yield a couple negative tests.

Eric Hosmer (SD) - Hosmer could miss some time as he was considered a close contact to Tatis. Hosmer hasn't been placed on the 10-day IL, so there's a little more optimism with him.

Last Update: May 11, 7:30 pm ET

Fernando Tatis Jr. (SD) - The Padres shortstop has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss an extended period of time because of it. He will be quarantining for a minimum of 10 days.

Jurickson Profar (SD) - Due to close contact with Fernando Tatis Jr. , Profar has been placed on the 10-day IL. As long as they can produce negative tests, they won't miss much time. There has been no word he has COVID-19.

Jorge Mateo (SD) - Due to close contact with Fernando Tatis Jr. , Mateo has been placed on the 10-day IL. As long as they can produce negative tests, they won't miss much time. There has been no word he has COVID-19.

Javier Báez (CHC) - It's just lower back tightness, but it forced Baez to miss Tuesday's contest after intially being in the Cubs lineup. Monitor his status moving forward.

Jake Marisnick (CHC) - Marisnick has been placed on the 10-day IL with a strained right hamstring. Marisnick has been a pleseant surprise for CHI this year as he's posted a .973 OPS to this point.

Jeimer Candelario (DET) - Candelario is experiencing a bad reaction to his second dosage of COVID-19 and was ultimately scratched because of it. He won't be out for much longer.

Carlos Martínez (STL) - Martinez tweaked his ankle during a home run celebration in the dugout and it has forced him to the 10-day IL. Johan Oviedo will take his place in the rotation on Friday.

Last Update: May 10, 8:35pm ET

Jacob deGrom (NYM) – deGrom has officially landed on the 10-day IL with his side injury. A previous MRI has shown that it isn’t considered a long-term injury, but he will miss a start or two. The Mets may have rushed him back in order for him to start on Sunday and they likely want to avoid that same mistake this time and will wait until he’s 100% ready to go.

Jake Arrieta (CHC) – Arrieta threw a bullpen session on Saturday and will likely have another in the coming days. The Cubs expect him to return for their series against the Tigers.

Ke'Bryan Hayes (PIT) – Hayes was transferred from the 10-day IL to the 60-day IL. This isn’t necessarily shocking nor should it change the fantasy outlook for Hayes. He hasn’t played in well over a month and will require a rehab process to get him back up to speed so the move to the 60-day IL simply made sense logistically. He’s eligible to come off the IL in early June, but he’ll probably need more time to return if you consider his rehab assignment.

Colin Moran (PIT) – Morgan was placed on the 10-day IL on Monday with a groin injury he sustained on Sunday.

Kevin Kiermaier (TB) – Kiermaier left Saturday’s game after being caught stealing second base. He was clearly hurt, rolling around on the dirt holding his left arm. He’s no stranger to injuries and could be looking at another IL stint. Update: Kiermaier noted on Sunday that the wrist wasn’t feeling any better so the team placed him on the 10-day IL.

Kohei Arihara (TEX) – The Rangers placed Arihara on the 10-day IL with a contusion on his finger. He tried to pitch through it previously and clearly looked uncomfortable. The organization opted to take the cautious approach and give him extra time to heal from it.

Rafael Dolis (TOR) – Being named the Blue Jays’ closer seems to be a curse more and more as the season rolls on. The Blue Jays have seen Kirby Yates , Julian Merryweather , and now Rafael Dolis each hit the IL in some capacity. Dolis’ recent injury opens the door for Jordan Romano to potentially get some save opportunities.

C.J. Cron (COL) - The Rockies placed Cron on the 10-day IL retroactive to May 7th. He's dealing with a lower back strain so Colorado will be shutting him down for now. Since April 20th, he was slashing .388/.474/.714 with five home runs and 12 RBI so this is a poorly-timed injury to shut down a hot hitter.

Last Update: May 9, 6:30am ET

Ronald Acuña Jr. (ATL) - Acuna had to leave Saturday's game after being struck in the hand in the seventh inning by a 98mph fastball. He's listed as day-to-day for now. Brian Snitker acknowledged it's possible he returns to the lineup for Sunday night's game against Philadelphia.

Ketel Marte (MIA) - Marte has been putting in work during his rehab process and the team feels he's almost game ready and that he'll easily return soon.

Colin Moran (PIT) - Moran left Saturday's game against the Cubs with a groin injury. No word yet on the severity of the injury.

Luke Voit (NYY) – Voit is set to join the Yankees for their upcoming road trip to make his 2021 debut. He underwent surgery on his left knee and has missed the 2021 season up to this point.

Kevin Kiermaier (TB) – Kiermaier left Saturday’s game after being caught stealing second base. He was clearly hurt, rolling around on the dirt holding his left arm. He’s no stranger to injuries and could be looking at another IL stint.

Mike Fiers (OAK) – Fiers was placed on the 10-day IL on Saturday with a sprained right elbow.

Justin Verlander (HOU) – Verlander spoke with the media regarding his rehab process after undergoing Tommy John surgery. It still looks as if it’s a longshot for him to pitch this season.

Framber Valdez (HOU) – Valdez has missed the season with a fractured finger, but worked a live batting practice session and showcased good command. He only threw 20 pitches and there’s no date set for his return, but this is a step in the right direction.

Byron Buxton (MIN) – Buxton hit the 10-day IL with a Grade 2 hip strain. It’s unlikely when he’ll return so don’t anticipate him being activated when he’s eligible.

Last Update: May 7, 4:00 am ET

Byron Buxton (MIN) – It should come as no surprise, but Buxton’s style of play seemingly did him in once again. He’s been diagnosed with a hip strain after running into the wall to rob a home run in yesterday’s game. He wasn’t able to completely run the bases in the latter innings of the game. It’s unclear how much time he’ll miss as of early Friday morning.

Alex Kirilloff (MIN) – Twins rookie Alex Kirilloff has been placed on the 10-day IL with a wrist injury. In a corresponding move, the front office activated Miguel Sanó off the IL. Kirilloff was on a nice streak prior to the injury so hopefully he continues the momentum once he’s able to return.

Carlos Carrasco (NYM) – The Mets were hopeful Carrasco could start rehabbing in the next couple weeks, but the hamstring hasn’t responded well and they’ve transferred him to the 60-day IL, which means the earliest he can return to the mound would likely be June, and that’s an optimistic projection.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. (MIA) – Chisholm has been out with a hamstring strain since last week, but he was cleared to run earlier in the week and could be nearing a return to the lineup. He’s eligible to come off the IL on Saturday so keep an eye on whether it sounds like they activate him.

Last Update: May 6, 5:00 am ET

George Springer (TOR) – Springer has missed all of the 2021 season so far and was placed on the 10-day IL due to “fatigue” in the quad. The Blue Jays continue to stress that the injury is not serious, but he’s eligible to come off the IL next Thursday so it remains to be seen when he’ll make his debut with the Blue Jays.

Joey Votto (CIN) – Votto fractured his thumb after being hit by a pitch on Wednesday and he will likely miss about four weeks of action.

Dylan Carlson (STL) – Carlson was removed from the first inning of Wednesday’s double-header and did not play in Game 2. He fouled a pitch off his shin in Game 1. It was noted by Mike Shildt that Carlson had been taking a beating on his leg the last few days and after fouling it off his leg it went numb for a bit.

Jordan Hicks (STL) – Hicks has been placed on the 10-day IL with elbow inflammation.

Jacob deGrom (NYM) – deGrom had to miss his last start due to a minor lat injury. He’s “feeling good” about not having to miss another start.

Brandon Nimmo (NYM) – Nimmo was placed on the 10-day IL retroactive to Monday so he’s eligible to return in a week. He’s dealing with a bone bruise from last weekend.

Anthony Rendon  (LAA) – Rendon had to leave Monday’s game after fouling a pitch off his knee. He’s currently listed as day-to-day with no real information at this point regarding the injury. Update: Rendon has been placed on the IL with a left knee contusion.

Rougned Odor  (NYY) – An ugly situation unfolded at home plate in last night’s Astros/Yankees game. Odor was running home to attempt to score and his leg collided awkwardly with Martín Maldonado ’s shoulder/head area. Both players exited the game immediately. Update: Odor has been placed on the 10-day IL with a left knee sprain.

Last Update: May 5, 5:00 am ET

Chris Sale (BOS) – Sale’s been recovering from Tommy John surgery and is expected to return to the team at some point this summer. The first step in his rehab process? He was able to make a couple throws off the mound earlier in the week.

George Springer (HOU) – Still dealing with a quad issue, he’s still considered “day-to-day” after missing almost all of April with the same injury.

Max Fried (ATL) – Fried has spent the last three weeks on the IL due to a hamstring strain he suffered running the bases. He’s set to make his return on Wednesday against the Nationals.

Luke Voit (NYY) – Voit’s been recovering from meniscus surgery on his knee and has missed all of the 2021 season so far. Fortunately, he was sent to a rehab assignment at Triple-A. There’s still no clear time frame for his return.

Shohei Ohtani (LAA) – After being scratched from his start on Monday, Ohtani is now scheduled to take the mound on Wednesday against the Rays.

Last Update: May 4, 7:00 pm ET

Jacob deGrom (NYM) - We got a scare when deGrom was scratched from his start with a lat issue, but the Mets have come out and said they expect him to miss just one start.

Christian Yelich (MIL) - Yelich had been back for ONE game before being placed on the IL for the second time this season. He has a lower back strain but things don't sound great out of Brewers camp. Manager Craig Counsell said there is likely something else.

Jake Arrieta (CHC) - Due to a right thumb abrasion, Arrieta has been placed on the 10-day IL retroactive to Monday. He has a 2.57 ERA thus far in 2021.

Tommy La Stella (SFG) - Unfortunately for La Stella and the Giants, this isn't a 10-day trip. La Stella will be out four-to-six weeks with a hamstring strain after being played on the IL Tuesday morning.

Luis Arraez (MIN) - After a bang-bang play at the plate in Monday's game, Arraez has been placed on the concussion list and it remains to be seen how much time he'll miss.

Kevin Gausman (SFG) - Like many others who have gotten bose doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, Gausman was not feeling well after the shot and was scratched from his start. He was not only scratched, but placed on the IL as well.

Merrill Kelly (ARI) - Kelly was placed on the 10-day IL and we weren't told why. That has been a sign that it has something to do with COVID-19, but there hasn't been anything official just yet.

Brock Holt (TEX) - This is Holt's second trip to the IL this season and there hasn't been any word on how much time he will miss due to a hamstring strain.

Michael Wacha (TBR) - A lot of bum hamstrings these days and Wacha is one of many victims. He was placed on the IL because of it and the Rays are hopeful that he'll only miss one appearance.

Gregory Polanco (PIT) - So Pittsburgh placed Polanco on the IL, but we weren't informed why. We'll have to monitor this news until we get the scoop.

Last Update: May 4, 5:00 am ET

Bryce Harper (PHI) – Harper still hasn’t seen any action since he was struck in the face and wrist  by a pitch last Thursday. The wrist is the issue keeping him out of the lineup as it’s a bit sore. Joe Girardi said that he’s likely to avoid a stint on the IL and they’re hopeful he’s back within a few days.

Shohei Ohtani (LAA) – Ohtani was hit by a pitch in the elbow on Sunday and he was scratched from his start on Monday. However, he was eligible to play as a DH and he went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, and two RBI.

Last Update: May 3, 8:15 pm ET

Luis Robert (CWS) - This is a MASSIVE blow. Robert will miss somewhere from 12-to-16 weeks of baseball. With how limited speed is to begin with, teams relying on the HR/SB threat of Robert will have to search elsewhere for that production.

Dustin May (LAD) - After breaking camp in the rotation and looking really, really sharp, Dustin May will undergo Tommy John surgery, ending his 2021 campaign.

J.D. Davis (NYM) - As Yogi Berra would say "It's Deja Vu all over again!" This is Davis' second trip to the IL, this time with a finger sprain. The Mets and Davis hope it's for the minimum amount of time. It's retroactive to May 2nd,

Last Update: May 3, 8:15 am ET

Luis Robert (CWS) - After being removed from Sunday's game, Robert is being placed on the 10-day IL with a right hip flexor strain. On the year, Robert is hitting .316 with an .822 OPS and four stolen bases.

Travis d'Arnaud (ATL) - The Braves have moved D'Arnaud to the 60-day IL as he's now undergone surgery on his thumb. Austin Jackson , the Braves backup also hit the IL yesterday, so the teams catchers are veteran Jeff Mathis and rookie William Contreras moving forward.

Jesús Luzardo (OAK) - Everyone gets mad when playing video games sometimes, but not everyone punches a table and fractures their hand in the process. Luzardo will be placed on the 10-day IL and will miss time considering the fracture is on his throwing hand.

Trevor Story (COL) - Story was hit with a pitch on his right index finger and left the game in the bottom half of the inning. The Rockies have not announced if he will hit the IL, but we do know that the X-rays came back negative, so definitely very positive there. If he does head to the injured list, it will be a very short stint.

Tommy La Stella (SFG) - La Stella pulled up lame in Sunday's game and was forced to leave due to a bum hamstring. He will get an MRI on it today to find out how serious of an injury it potentially could be. The Giants are already missing Donovan Solano from their infield, so this is a tough blow.

Last Update: May 2, 2:20 pm ET

Luis Robert (CWS) - He was helped off the field and was not putting any weight on his right leg

Dustin May (LAD) - May had to leave his start Saturday night. He came up wincing after a pitch in the second inning. This is a worst case scenario for the Dodgers as the bullpen has taken a beating this season as well. May will undergo an MRI on Monday.

Matt Olson (OAK) – Olson was scratched from Thursday’s lineup after being hit in the eye by a ball that ricocheted off the pitcher’s L-screen. X-rays didn’t show any fractures, but he’ll be sidelined until the swelling can go down. Update: Olson was out again Saturday as the team waits for the swelling in his eye to go down.

Miguel Sanó (MIN) – Sano is eligible to come off the IL. He’s missed time due to a hamstring injury, but the Twins don’t want to rush him back. Clearly he’s still dealing with a little tightness but when he’s ready to return he can be activated immediately.

Omar Narváez (MIL) – Narvaez was placed on the 10-day IL after suffering a strained hamstring Friday night. Hamstrings have been a re-occurring injury across the MLB landscape and he now is the 15th member of the Brew Crew on the IL.

Stephen Strasburg (WSH) – Strasburg has missed some time with shoulder inflammation but he tossed a 30-pitch bullpen session prior to Saturday’s game. It’s still unclear when he’ll be able to return, but this is a good start.

Travis d'Arnaud (ATL) – d’Arnaud left Saturday’s game with a thumb injury and was placed on the 10-day IL. He was injured making a tag on a play at the plate in the sixth inning.

Bryce Harper   (WSH) – After being struck in the face on Wednesday, Harper missed Thursday and Friday's games mostly as a precaution since he was also hit in the wrist. His teammate, Didi Gregorius   , also missed Thursday’s game after being struck in the ribs on Wednesday. For now, Harper’s absence doesn’t appear to be as serious of Gregorius’. Update: Harper was held out of Saturday's lineup due to a sore wrist.

J.T. Realmuto (PHI) – Realmuto was scratched from Friday’s game against the Mets with a sore hand. It doesn’t sound like he will miss significant time with the injury. Update: Realmuto was held out of Saturday's lineup.

Last Update: May 1, 7:50 pm ET

Christian Yelich and Lorenzo Cain (MIL) – Both Yelich and Cain are expected to return either this week or early next week. Yelich’s back issues have sidelined him for three weeks and Cain’s missed almost as much time with a quad strain. Neither player is necessarily in the clear upon their return so while we’re optimistic that they’ll return soon, it all comes down to avoiding re-aggravation.

Marcus Stroman (NYM) – Stroman was cruising in his last start Friday night with eight strikeouts in five innings of work. He only needed 64 pitches, but unfortunately, he had to depart with hamstring tightness (a re-occurring theme this year). The injury actually struck him in the third inning but he worked through it for a couple more innings. Based on that bit of news, it sounds like he shouldn’t miss his next start as long as this injury doesn’t carry over.

Carlos Carrasco (NYM) – Carrasco is rehabbing from a torn hamstring, but he managed to throw five innings in a simulated game at the Mets’ alternate training site. It appears as if he’s still two weeks away from making his 2021 debut.

Kole Calhoun (ARI) – Calhoun is going to miss six-to-eight weeks following surgery to remove a split hamstring tendon he suffered while attempting a stolen base on Tuesday.

Jonathan India (CIN) – India was struck in the head last Sunday, but played the very next day. Unfortunately, he’s missed every game since, and the Reds finally placed him on the 10-day IL retroactive to last Sunday.

Brady Singer (KC) – Singer left Friday’s start with a heel contusion after being struck in the foot by a “come backer” from Josh Donaldson . No word yet on the severity of the injury or if he’ll miss his next start, but it simply sounds like it was a precautionary move to remove him from the game.

Last Update: April 30, 5:30 am ET

Max Fried (ATL) – Fried was able to throw live batting practice on Thursday and it looks like he’ll be able to rejoin the rotation for the Braves’ series against the Nationals next week.

Matt Olson (OAK) – Olson was scratched from Thursday’s lineup after being hit in the eye by a ball that ricocheted off the pitcher’s L-screen. X-rays didn’t show any fractures, but he’ll be sidelined until the swelling can go down.

Matthew Boyd (DET) – After getting off to a pretty strong start to begin the season, Boyd left Thursday’s start with left knee tendinitis. There’s no word yet on how much time he could potentially miss.

Last Update: April 28, 12:10 pm ET

Hyun-Jin Ryu (LAD) - He has been placed on 10-day IL due to a strained right glute.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. (MIA) – Chisholm has been an asset to both the Marlins and fantasy managers alike, but he was unfortunately removed from Tuesday’s game with a hamstring strain. As we’ve seen with other players battling hamstring injuries these are easily re-aggravated and everyone’s timetable to return is different. UPDATE: He has been placed on the 10-day IL.

Juan Soto (WSH) – Soto has started taking batting practice and told the coaching staff the shoulder felt fine and there was no discomfort. He has not yet resumed any throwing activities so there still isn’t a timeline for his return. This is a step in the right direction.

Stephen Strasburg (WSH) – Strasburg has started throwing from 150 feet on flat ground but has not thrown off a mound yet. Dave Martinez is optimistic that will start to happen soon.

Cody Bellinger (LAD) – Bellinger has been out for the last three weeks and will travel to the team’s alternate training site to start taking batting practice. There’s still no clear indication of when he’ll return.

Joe Kelly (LAD) – Kelly hasn’t made his debut yet in 2021 as he dealt with a couple injuries during Spring Training, but the Dodgers are optimistic he could join the team on their upcoming road trip.

Kris Bryant (CHC) – Bryant’s been dealing with bicep soreness, so the coaching staff decided to give him the day off purely for rest.

Framber Valdez (HOU) – Hard to believe it feels like it’s been nearly two months since Valdez’s injury, but here we are. And the good news is that pitching coach Brent Strom said Valdez has progressed to the point where he’s now facing hitters in his rehab process where he’s facing hitters. They’ve yet to make any indication on when he could re-join the team.

Last Update: April 27, 7:30 pm ET

Luis Robert (CWS) - Robert informed the team he had flu-like symptoms on Monday night and they placed him on the IL until further testing is done and until they get the results back.

Yadier Molina (STL) - The update from earlier this morning is that Molina has been placed on the 10-day IL with a right foot tendon strain. Molina is hitting .323 on the year and this will be a tough blow to anyone in a two-catcher league.

Manny Piña (MIL) - Pina broke his toe on a foul ball and has been placed on the IL. He has just four hits across 25 at-bats this year, but two of those hits are home runs.

Last Update: April 27, 4:30 am ET

Byron Buxton (MIN) – Buxton was not in Monday night’s lineup as he’s been dealing with patella tendinitis in his knee. The Twins are optimistic he’ll be back in the lineup for Tuesday’s contest against Cleveland.

Mike Trout and Anthony Rendon (LAA) – Both Trout and Rendon were back in action Monday night for the Halos. Trout had been absent after being hit by a pitch in the elbow last Thursday. Rendon made his return after missing almost two weeks with a groin strain.

Christian Yelich (MIL) – A more recent MRI revealed no serious damage to Yelich’s back. He’s eligible to come off the IL once he’s feeling better, but for now there’s still no timetable as long as he’s experiencing discomfort.

Tommy Pham (SD) – Pham left Sunday night’s game with left calf tightness. He’s considered day-to-day for now without knowing the severity of the injury.

Yadier Molina (STL) – It seems like Molina will avoid a stint on the IL as he deals with a foot injury. He missed St. Louis’ games on Saturday and Sunday, but he did return to action for Monday’s game against Philadelphia.

Harrison Bader (STL) – Bader’s missed the first month of the season after enduring with a right forearm strain during the final week of Spring Training. Fortunately, manager Mike Shildt acknowledged that the organization believes he can rejoin the team within the next seven-to-ten days.

Jake Odorizzi (HOU) – Odorizzi left his start on Saturday with forearm tightness. It appears it’s just a slight muscle strain and he may only miss two or three starts. Fortunately, it does look like he’ll avoid season-ending surgery.

Salvador Perez (KC) – Perez left Monday’s game after jamming his thumb making a tag at the plate. He’ll require further evaluation but for now he’s considered day-to-day.

Mike Yastrzemski (SF) – An MRI showed that Yaz is dealing with a very mild oblique strain. It doesn’t sound like an IL stint is necessary, but he’s likely going to miss five or six games.

David Price (LAD) – Price landed on the IL with a hamstring strain. This comes just days after the Dodgers announced Corey Knebel will be out a few months with a lat strain. Hamstring strains are difficult because they are easy to re-aggravate and everyone requires a different amount of time to return from them.

Last Update: April 25, 11:50 am ET

Mike Trout (LAA) – The fantasy baseball community almost had a collective meltdown Thursday night as Mike Trout was hit by a pitch in the elbow. He stayed in the game but was eventually removed. He was also in Friday’s lineup but was a late scratch. He’s considered day-to-day, but it doesn’t sound like he’ll land on the IL at this point in time. Update: Trout was held out of Saturday’s lineup.

Christian Yelich (MIL) – Yelich underwent an MRI for ongoing lower back tightness. He was eligible to come off the IL on Friday, but the team still clearly has concerns. It’s a bizarre minor injury that we don’t have a ton of clarity on, but he’s had a couple minor flare-ups regarding the back. No clear timetable for his return, but it could change at the drop of a hat.

Lance Lynn (CHW) – Lynn will come off the IL on Friday to face the Indians. He’s been on the IL since April 17th with a trapezius injury.

Corey Knebel (LAD) – Knebel hit the 10-day IL this weekend and will likely be out for a while with a strained lat.

Jake Odorizzi (HOU) – Odorizzi left Saturday’s start with right forearm tightness. He only threw five pitches, but something was clearly wrong. He velocity was way down and he’s now set to be examined on Sunday.

Jose Altuve (HOU) - Dusty Baker went on record saying they hope to activate Jose Altuve early this upcoming week.

Last Update: April 24, 12:00 pm ET

Evan Longoria (SF) – Longoria experienced some hamstring tightness Thursday night. He’s considered day-to-day but hamstring injuries could land him on the IL so we’ll have to wait and see. The Giants’ infield has taken a hit due to injuries lately with Brandon Belt , Donovan Solano , and Brandon Crawford all fighting injuries.

Gavin Lux (LAD) – Lux has been sidelined with a wrist injury. The good news is that once he’s eligible to come back the team is expected to activate him. He should return to kick off Monday’s series against the Reds.

Miguel Sanó (MIN) – Sano has been placed on the 10-day IL. He last appeared in Tuesday’s double-header so he’s eligible to return next Friday if the hamstring is no longer an issue.

Brett Anderson (MIL) – Anderson left Friday’s start after 11 pitches. Not the best start for the Brew Crew who are about to play each of the next 16 days. The Brew Crew placed Anderson on the 10-day IL with a hamstring strain.

Last Update: April 23, 12:00 pm ET

Kolten Wong (MIL) - Wong was activated off of the 10-day IL on Friday and is in the Brewers lineup, leading off. Wong had just two hits in his first 19 at-bats this season. He's not much of a fantasy value right now.

Brian Anderson (MIA) - Another oblique strain! It feels like we've had a bunch already this season. Anderson's been placed on the 10-day IL retroactive to Wednesday. He has an OPS of .529 to start the year. He's likely been dropped in any and all formats already.

Dinelson Lamet (SDP) - After leaving his first start of the year, Lamet has been placed on the 10-day IL. That said, Jace Tingler, his manager, said Lamet feels really good and will be throwing today (Friday) and they will go from there. He thinks there is even a shot he could make a start after the 10 days. Monitor how Friday's throwing session goes.

Joc Pederson (CHC) - It's been a rough start for Pederson at the dish starting 7-for-51 with just one homer and things only got worse as he's spending his next ten days or more on the injured list due to a wrist injury.

Donovan Solano (SFG) - After hitting .330 in 2019 and .326 in '20, Solano was off to another hot start batting .300 this season, but strained his calf running the bases on Wednesday and has been placed on the 10-day IL. Tommy La Stella figures to play everyday at 2B in Solano's stead.

Chad Kuhl (PIT) - After making his fourth start of the year this past Sunday, Kuhl felt should discomfort and ended up on the 10-day IL because of it. Kuhl has a 6.32 ERA and had allowed four homers in his previous three starts before being placed on the IL.

Last Update: April 22, 11:00 am ET

Ke'Bryan Hayes (PIT) - Hayes re-aggravated his wrist injury while getting some batting practice in. He is heading back to Pittsburgh to be re-evaluated, but this likely pushes back his return date.

Ronald Acuña Jr. (ATL) - The Braves' superstar outfielder left Tuesday night's game with pain in his lower abdominal muscles. He is going to be re-evaluated today to determine if a trip to the IL is needed. UPDATE: Brian Snitker did say there’s a chance Acuna returns to the lineup for Friday night’s game against Arizona. Still not a guarantee though.

Drew Smyly (ATL) – Smyly will be activated off the IL and start Saturday against Arizona.

Anthony Rendon (LAA) – Rendon took batting practice and was fielding some grounders on Wednesday. It’s unclear when he could return, but Joe Maddon did say it’s possible he plays this weekend against Houston.

George Springer (TOR) – Blue Jays GM, Charlie Montoyo, has again said Springer is making progress toward his 2021 debut. He’s still day-to-day but it’s possible he returns against the Rays this weekend.

Miguel Sanó (MIN) – Sano is dealing with some right hamstring tightness as he was absent from Tuesday and Wednesday night’s lineups. Hamstring injuries can be pretty tricky. Everybody responds and recovers from them differently and they are easy to re-aggravate.

Jorge Alfaro (MIA) – Another player suffering from a hamstring injury. Alfaro was placed on the 10-day IL on Wednesday after he left Tuesday’s game with tightness in his hamstring.

Didi Gregorius (PHI) – Gregorius is sidelined with an elbow injury, but the organization is optimistic he’ll return against the Rockies in Coors Field for this weekend’s series.

Gio Urshela (NYY) – Urshela exited Wednesday night’s game in the seventh inning with lower back tightness. No word yet on how serious the injury is, but it’s a similar injury that’s cost Christian Yelich some time this year.

Donovan Solano (SF) – Solano left Wednesday’s game after he experienced some calf tightness trying to run the bases. He might be able to avoid an IL stint, but Gabe Kapler already acknowledged that he will miss some time so if that’s the case, they might place him on the IL.

Jean Segura  (PHI) - Segura left Tuesday's game due to a strained right quad. He will be re-evaluated on Wednesday. We will know more then on how long this could keep him out of the lineup. Update: Segura was placed on the 10-day IL on Wednesday.

Last Update: April 21, 5:20 pm ET

Dinelson Lamet  (SD) - Dinelson Lamet left Wednesday’s game with right forearm tightness. Not good. Fantasy owners should be very concerned. He'll undergo an MRI later this week.

Mookie Betts (LAD) – Betts was struck on his right forearm during Monday’s loss, but X-rays came back negative, so he’ll likely avoid an IL stint. He was not in the lineup Tuesday not so he will be worth monitoring over the next few days.

Gavin Lux (LAD) – Lux went on the IL on April 18th, but the move is retroactive to April 16th. His wrist soreness is improving and he’ll be eligible to be activated this coming Monday. The team anticipates he’ll be ready for next week’s series and the Reds.

Last Update: April 20. 8:35 pm ET

Mike Moustakas (CIN) - Moustakas had originally made the lineup for Tuesday's game after not playing since April 14th, but has since been scratched and placed on the 10-day IL with a non-COVID illness. It was retroactive to Saturday and we have not been made aware of how long this illness will keep Moustakas on the shelf.

Juan Soto (WAS) - The Nationals have placed Soto on the 10-day IL with a left shoulder strain. There is no word on how much time, but this is a massive blow to fantasy teams for the next two weeks or so. They have recalled Yadiel Hernandez ()" yadiel="">Yadiel Hernandez ()" yadiel="">Yadiel Hernandez ()" yadiel="">Yadiel Hernandez to take his place, but he's not anyone worth rostering in any seasonal formats.

Anthony Santander (BAL) - Santander left Tuesday's contest after rolling his ankle on first-base on an attempted pick off. The injury did not look good and he had to be helped off the field.

Adrian Morejon (SDP) - After leaving his last start on April 11th with an elbow injury, Morejon will be going under the knife and getting Tommy John surgery, ending his 2021 campaign and likely some of 2022 as well. Tough blow for the 22-year old lefty.

Max Kepler (MIN) - Kepler has been placed on the 10-day IL due to testing positive with COVID-19. He'll be isolated for 10 days and as long as he's not feeling ill and tests neagtive, he'll be back in the lineup after the 10 days.

Last Update: April 20, 4:15 am ET

Starling Marte  (MIA) - Marte left yesterday's game during an at-bat after experiencing pain in his side (the oblique area). We should find out more later today, but I wouldn't be surprised if a trip to the IL is in his near future. Update: Miami is expected to place him on the IL prior to Tuesday's game. He suffered a non-displaced rib fracture so they'll shut him down for about a week, but there's no telling if he'll come off the IL when he's eligible next Wednesday.

Dinelson Lamet (SD) – It appears Lamet will make his 2021 debut on Wednesday against the Brewers. He’s been working to build up arm strength after a UCL strain forced him to miss the 2020 postseason. He will likely be working on a pitch count of roughly 75-80 so don’t expect a huge leash for him in his debut. Entering Monday the Padres’ rotation boasted a 2.58 ERA and a .177 batting average allowed.

George Springer (TOR) – Springer has been making progress in what has been his second stint of rehab. He initially suffered an oblique injury in spring training and while rehabbing that injury he suffered a mild quad issue as well. GM Ross Atkins indicated that he had been making strides regarding both setbacks, but there’s still no timetable for his return but once he starts running more we’ll have a better idea when he could come back to action.

Trent Grisham (SD) – Grisham was pulled from Sunday’s lineup after experiencing some quad tightness that he likely suffered during Saturday’s game. He’s considered day-to-day but the Padres don’t sound overly concerned about the issue right now.

Ke'Bryan Hayes (PIT) – Hayes is likely to play one or two games with Toledo before possibly re-joining the Bucs later this week or next week. This will be his first live action in a game since injuring his wrist on April 3.

Shohei Ohtani (LAA) – Ohtani will not hit on Tuesday as he makes his first appearance on the mound in almost two weeks. With that said, he’ll be limited to about 75 pitches against the Rangers.

Ozzie Albies (ATL) – Albies wasn’t in the lineup Sunday night after being hit by a pitch in the leg on Saturday. He sounds like he hopes to be back in action on Tuesday however.

Mike Moustakas (CIN) – Moustakas missed his third straight game on Sunday with a non-COVID related illness. He’s considered day-to-day but should avoid an IL stint assuming he gets healthy soon enough.

Last Update: April 19, 2:20 pm ET

Alex Bregman , Yordan Alvarez , Martín Maldonado (HOU) - This trio of Astros players are expected to rejoin the club tomorrow in Colorado following their recent absences due to Covid protocols.

Ronald Acuña Jr. (ATL) - The Braves' superstar outfielder left last night's game with pain in his lower abdominal muscles. He is going to be re-evaluated today to determine if a trip to the IL is neeeded. UPDATE: An MRI revealed a mild abdominal strain. He is day-to-day.

Lance Lynn (CWS) - The White Sox placed Lynn on the 10-day injured list with a strained right trapezius yesterday, retroactive to Saturday. Lynn has recorded a 0.92 ERA over 19 2/3 innings this season. Tough blow.

Tim Locastro (ARZ) - Locastro, who suffered a dislocated left pinkie finger Saturday, was officially placed on the 10-day IL Sunday.

Last Update: April 18, 10:30 am ET

Stephen Strasburg (WSH) - The Nationals have placed Strasburg on the 10-day IL with right shoulder inflammation. The move is retroactive to April 15 so he can rejoin the team in a week, although there's no timetable available yet for his return.

Christian Yelich (MIL) - The Brewers finally placed Yelich on the 10-day IL. However, since he hasn't played since last Sunday he's eligible to come off by Wednesday if his back is feeling better. The Brewers though that if he isn't playing they might as well put him on the IL in the short-term to make use of his roster spot.

Gary Sánchez (NYY) - Gary Sánchez 's hand was clipped on a foul tip during Saturday's game against the Rays. He tried to stay in the game but was ultimately removed. X-rays came back negative so he's considered day-to-day. Kyle Higashioka was expected to catch for Gerrit Cole on Sunday anyway.

Bryce Harper (PHI) - Harper was not in Saturday's lineup due to lower back tightness. It doesn't sound as serious as Yelich's lower back issues. Philadelphia has not ruled him out for Sunday's action. UPDATE: He is back in the lineup Sunday.

Shohei Ohtani  (LAA) – Ohtani has been working in some bullpen sessions since the blister developed. There’s no word yet on when he will rejoin the rotation, but it sounds like the Halos are optimistic he can get a start in next week.

Cody Bellinger  (LAD) – Bellinger took a cleat to the leg about a fortnight ago and recent X-rays revealed a hairline fracture in his left leg. Don’t be surprised if an IL stint is coming, but there’s no timetable for his return. Likely won’t be anytime soon.

Last Update: April 17, 2:50 pm ET

Gavin Lux (LAD) – Lux is dealing with some wrist soreness. It doesn’t sound serious, but he was held out of Friday’s lineup.

Dinelson Lamet (SD) – By all accounts, Lamet’s rehabbing has gone quite well. He’s set to join the team this week for a bullpen session and there’s optimism he could make his 2021 against the Brew Crew next week.

Drew Smyly (ATL) – After some promising innings in his previous start, Drew Smyly was placed on the 10-day IL after experiencing some forearm inflammation. That means the Braves now have Smyly, Mike Soroka , and Max Fried on the IL.

Ozzie Albies (ATL) – Ozzie Albies was hit by a pitch later in the game. He left the game and the team doesn’t know the extent of his injury yet. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Ke’Bryan Hayes (PIT) – Hayes has been taking live batting practice, which is a good sign for a guy who was having a slow rehab process. The Bucs have the luxury of activating him off the IL when they see fit. If his BP’s continue to look promising, he could be activated within the week.

Manny Machado (SD) – Nothing too serious to report here, but Machado is dealing with some shoulder and lower back tightness. It wouldn’t be too surprising to see San Diego sit him for a day or two, but it could be something that just requires rest. Don’t anticipate an IL stint.

Last Updated: April 16, 6:15 am ET

Cavan Biggio (TOR) -- Biggio was removed from Thursday night's game with pain in his right hand after trying to field a ball with his throwing hand. He's been evaluated further.

Jordan Romano (TOR) -- Romano joined fellow reliever Julian Merryweather on the 10-day IL with right ulnar neuritis. No timetable has been given for his return so expect updates in the coming days. Check out Fantasy Alarm's latest Bullpen Report from Joe Gallina and find out who's getting the saves in Toronto.

Ross Stripling (TOR) -- He lands on the 10-day IL with a right forearm strain. He'll undergo tests and learn more from the Jays soon. Anthony Kay was promoted from the alternate site and he is currently bleeding runs to the Royals in the third inning.

Gavin Lux (LAD) -- The Dodgers second baseman was scratched with a sore right wrist. It doesn't appear to be serious, so consider him day-to-day and look for a quick return to the lineup. Chris Taylor manned the keystone in his absence.

Fernando Tatis Jr. (SD) – The Padres are still optimistic Tatis can return Friday after partially dislocating his shoulder merely ten days ago. The return in such a short amount of time would be quite surprising, but re-aggravation is still a possibility and it’s no guarantee he returns this weekend, or that he performs at an elite level right away.

Johnny Cueto (SF) – Cueto left Wednesday afternoon’s game after pitching 5.2 scoreless innings. Cueto’s actually been very impressive to start the year and only needed 68 pitches on Wednesday. The severity of his injury will be worth monitoring. It looks as if Alex Wood will be ready to join the rotation, but the Giants may also bump Logan Webb to the bullpen as well. This is a fluid situation with many moving parts worth monitoring. UPDATE: Cueto lands on the 10-day IL with what they are calling a Grade-1 lat strain. We are awaiting a return timetable update from the Giants.

Shohei Ohtani (LAA) – Ohtani’s next start has been delayed due to a blister. That’s nothing too drastic as of right now but keep an eye on it.

Ke’Bryan Hayes (PIT) – Hayes’ rehab has been slow, but he finally started swinging a bat on Wednesday. There’s still no timetable for his return, but the fact he’s picked up a bat is a good sign following a wrist injury.

Max Fried (ATL) – It’s been a forgettable season for Max Fried and he’s been placed on the IL with a hamstring strain which he suffered while running the bases during his start on Tuesday. It clearly impacted his performance, so he’ll be shut down for a few days and possibly miss two starts. Hamstrings are tough to gauge because everyone responds/recovers from them differently. All this trouble to lose a pitcher and MLB still won’t go with a universal DH.

Sonny Gray (CIN) – Sonny Gray will come off the IL to make his debut this coming Saturday. He has missed the first few weeks of the season with a muscle strain in his back.

Lorenzo Cain (MIL) – Cain exited Tuesday’s game with quadricep discomfort. It’s an injury he had to fight through during spring training as well. No word yet on the severity of the injury or how much time he could miss. Update: Cain was placed on the 10-day IL on Wednesday.

Christian Yelich   (MIL) - Yelich was removed from Sunday's game due to back soreness. He is currently day-to-day as we wait for further updates. Update: Yelich still has not played since being removed from the game on Sunday. The Brewers are considering him day-to-day while he deals with this back issue. It doesn't sound like they'll place him on the IL.

Yordan Alvarez , Jose Altuve , Alex Bregman , Martín Maldonado (HOU) - Have all been placed on the 10-day IL. No word on the reasoning yet, but seems like a covid situation.

Wil Myers (SD) – Myers left Tuesday’s game after coming up gingerly after making a catch. Jayce Tingler said that Myers has been playing through a few minor injuries but this one is a little concerning since Myers is no stranger to injuries previously.

Nelson Cruz (MIN) – Cruz missed Tuesday’s game with a non-COVID-related illness. Manager Rocco Baldelli didn’t elaborate any further aside from the fact Cruz was resting at home. If this isn’t serious he shouldn’t miss too much time.

[KEVIN] Mariners manager Scott Servais said that Lewis could return to the lineup as soon as Wednesday, although it’s no guarantee. Lewis has said he feels fine although they haven’t really been getting him ready for a return so it’s unlikely they throw him back into action right away. But if he gets some at-bats in it’s possible he returns very soon.

Gleyber Torres (NYY) – Torres jammed his finger diving back to first base Monday night. X-rays came back negative so as long as the finger feels fine, Torres could return to the lineup Wednesday or Thursday.

Matt Olson (OAK) – Olson was hit by a pitch on the left hand Tuesday night and left the game. X-rays came back negative but he does have some bruising. He will likely miss another game or two.

Cristian Pache (ATL) -- Braves placed OF Cristian Pache on the 10-day injured list with a left groin strain

Last Updated: April 13, 7:35 pm ET

James Paxton (SEA) - Paxton will undergo Tommy John surgery, ending his 2021 season.

Kyle Hendricks (CHC) - The Cubs official Twitter page announced Hendricks was not feeling well and was scratched from tonight's start. This illness should keep him out just one start barring it isn't anything serious.

Justin Upton (LAA) - Upton was scratched from Tuesday's lineup due to back stiffness. This doesn't seem to be serious and we should be considering him day-to-day.

Juan Lagares (LAA) - The Angels placed Lagares on the 10-day IL today with a strained calf. He has appeared in just two games and is 0-of-7 at the plate.

Max Stassi (LAA) - The Angels also placed Max Stassi on the 10-day IL today with a thumb sprain. Stassi had started off his 2021 campaign rather hot posting a 1.036 OPS across seven games.

Ronald Guzmán (TEX) - After leaving Monday night's game, Guzman has since been diagnosed with a torn meniscus. He will be on the shelf for quite a while.

[PAVIN] to split time at 1B while Walker is out.

Zac Gallen (ARI) – Gallen has missed the early portions of the 2021 season with a hairline fracture. He is slated to make his debut Tuesday against Oakland.

Sonny Gray (CIN) – Gray responded well to his simulated game this past weekend and he should return to the rotation sometime soon which will push either Jeff Hoffman or José De León out of the rotation.

Archie Bradley (PHI) – After a bit of an ugly start to the 2021 season with Philadelphia, Bradley has hit the 10-day IL with an oblique strain.

Last Updated: April 12, 7:40 pm ET

Anthony Rendon (LAA) - The Angels have placed Anthony Rendon on the 10-day injured list, so nothing about the groin injury seems minor, like originally reported. Angels manager Joe Maddon believes Rendon will not miss any time past the ten days, however. That remains to be seen.

Carlos Rodón (CWS) - After an impressive debut in his return to the White Sox, Rodon was forced to miss Monday's start due to an illness. Dallas Keuchel got the ball in his place and we'll find out in the upcoming days how severe of an illness it is. As of now, expect him to make a full recovery and make his next start.

Last Updated: April 12, 3:40 pm ET

Adrian Morejon (SD) - Morejon was forced to leave yesterday's start after recording just two outs and he has now been placed on the 10-day IL with a left forearm strain.

Reyes Moronta (SFG) - Giants placed reliever Reyes Moronta on the 10-day IL with a right flexor strain.

Anthony Rendon (LAA) - Rendon was held out of the Angels lineup on Sunday with what the team is calling a "minor" groin injury. Joe Maddon was unsure how long Rendon would be out but considers him day-to-day.

Miguel Cabrera (DET) - Cabrera lands on the 10-day IL with a left biceps strain that he suffered during Saturday's contest. Renato Núñez has taken his place on the roster.

Brusdar Graterol (LAD) - Dodgers manager Dave Roberts stated Graterol is close to being activated but did not give an exact timeline on what the reliever would be availble to make his season debut.

Last Updated: April 11, 12:06 pm ET

Tyler O'Neill (STL) - He has been placed on the 10-day IL with a strained right groin.

Dexter Fowler  (LAA) - After needing to be carted off the field Friday night, Fowler is expected to AVOID the IL per Angels manager Joe Maddon following Friday's game. Update: Fowler has a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season.

Alex Bregman (HOU) – Bregman was held out of Saturday’s lineup because his legs were a little sore. The Astros are scheduled to be off on Sunday so that’ll give him the whole weekend off actually. This doesn’t sound one bit serious and he should be ready to return to action for Week Three of the fantasy baseball season.

Chris Archer (TB) – Chris Archer had to exit Saturday’s game in the third inning after experiencing some discomfort in his forearm. The Rays immediately placed him on the injured list, but the good news is that it doesn’t sound serious…. For now. The Rays recalled Brent Honeywell Jr. to serve as the opener for Sunday’s game. Honeywell, once a top prospect, hasn’t pitched in the big leagues since 2017.

Josh Donaldson (MIN) – Donaldson suffered a hamstring injury in the Twins’ opener of the 2021 season and immediately hit the IL. As of late, however, he’s been running sprints in the outfield and has participated in baserunning drills. Twins manager Rocco Baldelli has said that Donaldson could come off the IL as early as Monday, but that’s no guarantee.

Last Updated: April 10th, 2:00 pm ET

Chris Owings (COL) - The Rockies have placed Owings on the 10-day IL with a sprainged left thumb. Owings was off to a hot start, hitting .533 with three triples, three doubles, and two steals through seven games.

J.D. Davis (NYM) - The Mets have placed Davis on the IL after being hit by a pitch in his hand. They have recalled infielder José Peraza . Davis is dealing with a bruise on his hand so the Mets took every precaution and will sit him for the time being. It doesn't sound like it'll be a lengthy stint on the IL.

Kolten Wong (MIL) The Brewers have added Kolten Wong to the 10-day IL. The front office doesn't believe the oblique strain is anything serious, but he'll be getting some rest to ease the strain over the next few days.

Aaron Judge (NYY) - Aaron Boone is still sticking with his "general soreness" comments when it comes to Aaron Judge but the Yankees slugger missed Friday's game as well. This will remain something to monitor as Judge is no stranger to the IL.

Nick Ahmed (ARI) - Manager Torey Lovullo says a possible return to the DBacks lineup this week for Ahmed who has been out due to a knee injury. Ahmed had a career year in 2019, hitting .254 with 19 home runs and 82 RBI.

Teoscar Hernández (TOR) - We knew Hernandez was on the Covid-IR but we now have a timeline for his possible return with which could be the Blue Jays upcoming series against the Royals on Thursday.

Jesse Winker (CIN) - Winker was removed from Friday night's game against the Diamondbacks in the sixth inning with what the team is calling calf cramps. He should be considere day-to-day.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (TOR) - Gurriel was removed from Friday's game in the third inning due to Covid-10 vacccine related symptoms. While we don't know exactly the symptoms he was experiencing we do know the vaccine does cause general soreness at the location of the shot so it's possible that was the reason. We will wait for more updates.

Last Updated: April 9th, 8:35 pm ET

Cody Bellinger (LAD) - Annnnnnnd to the IL! We weren't sure if it was going to happen and now we're sure. He'll be eligible to return on April 16th as this IL stint was retroactive to April 6th.

Teoscar Hernández (TOR) - After being around someone outside of the team that tested positive for COVID-19, Hernandez has been placed on the COVID-19 list.

Dexter Fowler (LAA) - After reaching base, Fowler had an awkward encounter at second base and his knee moved in a way that no body part should. He was carted off the field as we fear the worst for Fowler. We'll likely get an update soon from the Angels, but it did not look good at all.

Julio Teheran (DET) - Slated to take the mound on Friday, Teheran was scratched due to triceps tightness. In other words, he didn't want to get lit up again by a lefty-heavy Indians lineup. Kidding, of course. We'll have to see how serious this issue is in the upcoming days.

Last Updated: April 9th, 5:45 am ET

James Paxton (SEA) – Paxton left early in his start on Wednesday with left forearm discomfort and sure enough, it’s been advised that he undergo Tommy John surgery. The oft-injured pitcher will certainly miss the rest of 2021 if he decides to go forward with the procedure and it’s likely he would miss a portion of the 2022 season as well. The Mariners have placed him on the 10-day IL in the meantime.

Trevor Rosenthal (OAK) - Presumed to be the team’s closer, Rosenthal was placed on the 10-day IL prior to the team’s Opening Day game on Thursday. The move isn’t likely serious as it’s just for shoulder inflammation, but naturally the team will take every precaution. Based on Howard’s most recent Closer Grid Jake Diekman is in line for saves in the short-term. Update: Rosenthal has officially undergone surgery and the team has moved him to the 60-day IL.

A.J. Puk (OAK) – Puk has been placed on the 10-day IL with a strained left bicep. The move is retroactive to Wednesday so the earliest he can come back would be Saturday, April 17th.

Paul Goldschmidt (STL) – Goldschmidt was held out of Thursday’s lineup as a precaution after he experienced some lower back tightness. It doesn’t appear to be serious so don’t plan on him missing significant time.

Kolten Wong (MIL) – In his return to Busch Stadium, Wong re-aggravated an oblique injury that has been bothering him. Manager Craig Counsell has not ruled out a trip to the IL, but Wong will be re-evaluated on Friday.

Ketel Marte (ARI) – Ketel left Wednesday’s game after cramping up trying to beat out a grounder. He pulled up a bit as he was running to preserve the injury. Torey Lovullo said he was doing okay after the game and he’d be re-evaluated on Thursday. Update: Marte has been placed on the 10-day IL due to the right hamstring injury.

Last Updated: April 8th, 4:15 am ET

Cody Bellinger  (LAD) - Bellinger had to be pulled from Monday's game in the ninth after getting spiked by A's pitcher, Reymin Guduan  . The two were racing to first base after Bellinger hit a grounder on that side of the infield. Bellinger was a little beat up after the play and Gavin Lux  came on to pinch run. The Dodgers should know more about Bellinger's injury later on Tuesday. Update: Bellinger was absent from Wednesday's lineup with calf soreness from Monday's injury. It's still unclear whether an IL-stint is in the cards for him.

Max Fried (ATL) – It was a pretty rough day for a couple Atlanta pitchers. Fried was removed from Wednesday’s game after a comebacker struck him in the calf. The injury was just salt on an open wound as Fried didn’t have his best stuff against the Nationals. Fortunately, both he and the Braves are optimistic he’ll be ready for his next start against the Marlins on Monday.

Mookie Betts (LAD) – Like Bellinger, Betts was absent from Wednesday’s lineup with lower back soreness and it’s unclear if an IL-stint is imminent.

Mike Soroka (ATL) – In his bid to return from last season’s achilles injury, the Braves are shutting down Soroka for the time being with shoulder inflammation. The organization was optimistic he might make his 2021 debut at the end of the month. As of right now, that return date seems highly unlikely.

Aaron Judge (NYY) – Judge missed Wednesday’s game with “general soreness” in his side. He’s no stranger to rib and oblique injuries so the team is just being precautious. Aaron Boone chalked it up to the general wear and tear of the first few days of the season.

Chris Owings (COL) – After being slotted in the two-hole on Wednesday night, Owings hit a triple and two doubles but had to be removed from the game with general soreness. Similar to Judge, it sounds like the Rockies just wanted to be cautious with Owings. It doesn’t seem like he’ll be headed to the IL.

Last Updated: April 7th, 2:41 pm ET

George Springer (TOR) - More bad news for the Springer. He felt some tightness in his quad while running the bases yesterday. He underwent an MRI and is still waiting for the results. He will not be coming off the IL tomorrow.

Tim Anderson , (CWS) - Anderson has been placed on the 10-day Injured List with a strained left hamstring. No word on the severity yet.

Fernando Tatis Jr.  (SDP) - Non-contact injuries don't happen nearly as often in baseball as they do in other sports, but here we are. Tatis left the game after an awkward swing-and-miss and since then the Padres announced that he has a left shoulder subluxtion, or in other words, a partial dislocation. This is likley something that keeps him out a while, but continue to monitor the news in the upcoming days. Update: The Padres received very fortunate news on Tuesday that Tatis will not need surgery for the shoulder injury he suffered on Monday night. An MRI on Monday revealed a slight dislocation and a partially torn labrum. Padres GM AJ Preller was optimistic Tatis could return once he's eligible to come off the IL. That seems incredibly optimistic, but the Padres, and fantasy owners alike, can exhale a bit.

Kevin Kiermaier  (TB) – Kiermaier left Monday’s game with left quadriceps tightness after trying to beat out a grounder early on. He stayed in the game but the Rays noticed he wasn’t his normal speedy self when he struggled to chase down a hit off the Green Monster. After the left the game, Mike Brosseau  took his place in left field. Randy Arozarena shifted from left-to-right. Manuel Margot  subsequently shifted from right-to-center. Update: The Rays have officially placed Kiermaier on the 10-day IL.

J.D. Davis (NYM) - Davis exited Tuesday's game after being hit by a pitch in the hand early on. An in-game X-ray revealed no fracture, but they'll re-assess the injury on Wednesday.

The Washington Nationals have added a decent amount of players to their IL due to the COVID breakout the team experienced in the past few days. Brad Hand , Kyle Schwarber , Jon Lester , Patrick Corbin , Alex Avila , Yan Gomes , Josh Harrison , Jordy Mercer , and Will Harris are all on the injured list, although Harris was due to inflammation in his right hand. As of right now, these players will miss the next 7-10 days. The big question is how will they perform when they come back. It's not yet clear who tested positive and who was merely a close contact, but athletes across a range of sports didn't quite look themselves when they returned to action.

Last Updated: April 6, 6:00 am ET

Chris Taylor (LAD) – Taylor left Monday’s game in the third inning after getting hit by a pitch in the elbow. He’s got a bit of a contusion at the moment, but X-rays came back negative.

Ramón Laureano (OAK) – Laureano had to be pulled from Friday’s game after he dove head first trying to beat out an infield grounder. Good news? X-rays were negative. There’s still the possibility that he misses a game or two so definitely keep an eye out on the Oakland lineup the next few days since the injury isn’t too serious. Update: Laureano could return to the lineup as soon as Tuesday according to Bob Melvin.

Last Updated: April 5, 7:44 pm ET

Elieser Hernandez (MIA) - The Marlins have placed Hernandez on the 10-day injury list with inflammation in his right bicep.

Austin Hays  (BAL) - The Orioles announced that Hays left Sunday’s contest with right hamstring tightness. Hays has had a long history with injuries, but nothing has been announced considering his status moving forward. *UPDATE* Hays has been placed on the 10-day IL.

Joakim Soria  (ARI) - After 2/3 of an inning, Soria was pulled from the game in the eighth inning due to a strain in his calf, covering first base. Soria had secured the closers job out of camp, but was used in a “high leverage” situation in his first outing.

Chris Martin  (ATL) - It’s never a good sign when a pitcher says he has a tingling sensation in his fingers. Martin was pulled because of this so we’re going to have to really pay attention to the news moving forward. Martin was second in line for saves in ATL.

Jesse Winker (CIN) - After missing Sunday's game as well, Winker is not in Monday's lineup due to an illness (non-COVID illness). It's worth monitoring his status as the week progresses.

Josh Fuentes  (COL) - After originally making Sunday’s lineup, Fuentes was scratched due to wrist soreness, but it shouldn’t be too impactful moving forward considering it’s just general soreness.

Michael Brantley  (HOU) - Manager Dusty Baker said Brantley will avoid the injured list, but will be unavailable until at least Tuesday due to his injured wrist.

Shohei Ohtani  (LAA) - After a scary looking collision at home plate in Sunday’s start, Joe Maddon said Ohtani will not be in the lineup on Monday. Ohtani himself said he’s OK. Ohtani owners, you can breathe easy.

Garrett Cooper (MIA) - Scary situation, hope everything is OK with Cooper, but he's been placed on the 10-day IL due to a bad reaction to the COVID-19 vaccine. He could, however, return to action as early as Tuesday if he is feeling better. That's an absolute longshot, but worth mentioning.

Byron Buxton  (MIN) - Buxton remains ill (non-COVID illness) and is not in Monday’s lineup. We need to monitor the news moving forward to find out when we may see him back in the Twins’ lineup.

Chad Pinder  (OAK) - Pinder had gotten off to a quick start this season hitting 3-for-10 with a home run before spraining his left knee. He’ll be getting an MRI on it today (Monday). *UPDATE* Pinder has been placed on the 10-day IL.

Ke'Bryan Hayes (PIT) - Hayes was played on the 10-day injured list prior to Sunday's game due to his banged up wrist.

Last Updated: April 3, 7:22pm ET

Ke'Bryan Hayes (PIT) – Hayes was pulled from Saturday’s game in the third inning with wrist discomfort. It looked as if he injured it diving back to first base on a pickoff attempt by Jake Arrieta . The Bucs pulled him as a precaution, and he was replaced by Erik González . As of Saturday evening, there’s no word on the severity of Hayes’ injury.

Michael Brantley (HOU) – Following a stellar outing on Friday where he hit three doubles, Brantley was hit by a pitch on his wrist Saturday and left the game early on. He was replaced by Chas McCormick. No word yet on the severity of his injury.

Josh Donaldson (MIN) – Donaldson was experiencing some hamstring tightness while running out a double in the first inning of yesterday’s game. He was replaced at third base by Luis Arraez. The Twins will use their off day on Friday to determine the severity of Donaldson’s injury. Update: On Saturday the Twins officially placed Donaldson on the 10-day IL with hamstring tightness.

Last Updated: April 3, 12:35pm ET

Sixto Sánchez (MIA) – Sanchez experienced some shoulder discomfort during a simulated game on Wednesday and failed to reach the 75-pitch limit. The injury resulted in some inflammation and Don Mattingly thought that was good news, considering it’s not overly serious. There’s no timetable yet for Sanchez, but it sounds like they expect him back sooner rather than later.

Last Updated: April 2, 8:20am ET

Nick Senzel (CIN) – Injuries continue to plague the once promising Reds prospect. Senzel injured his left shoulder while diving to make a play in Thursday’s opener. A torn labrum in his right shoulder previously ended his rookie campaign in 2019 and additionally he missed 27 games last year. Tyler Naquin came in to replace him in center field once Senzel left the contest. No news yet on the severity of the injury.

Eduardo Rodríguez (BOS) – Rodriguez is starting the season on the 10-day IL with left elbow inflammation. If all goes well with his simulated session today, he could make his first start since 2019 later next week.

Robbie Ray (TOR) – After a very impressive spring, Robbie Ray fell down some stairs and is dealing with an elbow contusion. You can’t make this stuff up. He’ll likely only miss two starts and be back in the rotation in no time. He’s always had high strikeout upside, but that has also come with allowing walks and home runs. Assuming the elbow heals in time he should be able to help fantasy managers out in less than two weeks.
